Well, I've had problems with a few extensions I had installed being marked as incompatible. That's to be expected I guess though, at least until Thunderbird is 1.0.

I don't mind if extensions get broken. What about as far as keeping settings and sent/received mail?

I've had absolutely no problems. In fact, this weird bug I experienced with one of my Pop mail accounts where it would not download e-mail like it was supposed to (even though they were present in the webmail interface) was fixed in this release. Not sure what the bug was but at least I can download my mail properly now (all 60 some odd messages of it).
