Default VBA How do I fix the pokemon battery dry error?

It refers to the timed events in "pokemon: Emerald/Ruby/Saphire" games. I am wondering how to fix this.

Please don't post giant images. I've cropped it (as most of it was white space) and attatched it. If you absolutely need to post a huge image, please attach it to the post as I've done so we see a thumbnail.

Anyway, I have VBA-M, so it may not be the case for 'regular' VisualBoyAdvance, but go to Options --> Emulator and turn on Real Time Clock. Does this help? I've not tried the GBA Pokemon games before.

Also, I could probably hunt down a patch for you if this doesn't work. I'm pretty sure I've seen patches that get around this error.

Do what The 9th Sage said and also do this:

Options -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128k

I've played most of the GBA pokemon games and doing both of these things will make the battery work and stop that dry error.

Ah, yes. That's a good tip also.
