Hi, I'm also an iPhone user but I do have 2 good android phones like a Samsung Galaxy S3, the one you've mentioned and an Asus Tablet phone. Anyway, my latest fave applications are Facebook Hello from Google Play Store (Free) , Pintasking , Truemessenger from Google Play Store (Free), games such as Clash of Clans and Minecraft and so many others.

Many apps are there to use and share in android you can also share your apps or your friend's apps via Shareit app. I love this app.

I agree. MX player is great. I use it myself.
If you enjoy reading manga but the ones you like aren't licensed in English, you can try downloading them from sources like Manga Fox and then reading them offline using Manga Galaxy.
