Heh, I know it...that was the statement I was making. They tend to take advantage of things (like say, the features of DVD) before other types of businesses do.

Anyway, yeah...it seems like 3D is becoming more fad-like again. There were a few that used 3D in decent, often pretty subtle ways (Avatar and Coraline, especially (which is also unique for being the only stop motion movie I know of shot in 3D) being decent examples) but now we're getting back to "Hey, 3D because we can!" stuff again since Hollywood smells money.
