Default NES Emulator question

I've been using FCEUX for quite a long time. I recently heard about ubernes. I was wondering if anyone has used it and what their opinion on it is? It doesn't seem to have been updated in quite a while.

I love the idea of being able to view boxart and associate the nes files with the boxart. Is there a program that can do that is not an emulator as well?

It may be a bit more than you're looking for, but GameEx is great for setting up a box-art game browser. It can be a bit tedious to set up, but once everything is in place it provides a very nice media center-like experience.

You could try Nemulator (and on our site here). It requires Windows 7 or Windows Vista though, sadly. It might need a beefy CPU also, but it's GUI is pretty interesting. Rather than screenshots, it actually runs the games in the emulator's window at the same time, so you can actually see them all running in order to choose the one you'd like. I kind of fail at explaining, the media section has a screenshot that explains it better and faster than I am.
Just can't wait to bomb some Dodongos.
