Smile Webcomics

Lately I've been following (in no particular order)
Girl Genius
Count Your Sheep
XKCD (despite a good frend of mine witnessing the author acting like an arrogant ass at a certain tiny convention =P )

What webcomics are you currently following?

The only webcomic I ever followed was DragonWarrior101 form dragon-warrior.com, but that was a long time ago...

But it was awesome.

So do I shamelessly self promote my own Webcomic?
Ah what the hell, I might as well it's not like anyone sees it anymore.
Like since the old versions fell off the internet when Aol hometome closed.
Not that you can see the cleaned up GGC Cross-over one there.
(Is that one strip still on Macrochan, I wonder?)
Kawaii Elf

Sure, why not?
If any of the rest of you folks draw and/or write your own, post those too.

Having perused, I am now amused and confused. =)

The only one I follow is The Order of the Stick.

I seem to have a thing for webcomics (list updated because of this topic!). Eight years ago, Bob and George was the only webcomic I kept up with. Things have certainly changed. I'm probably going to take a look at expanding the list even further with the comics I'm seeing here, Girl Genius and The Order of the Stick could make for a nice change of pace...

Heh, I happened to have had Opera set to identify itself as IE at the time I opened that page, so I was presented with your special message for IE6 users. =P

Adding to what I originally posted, I also sometimes check out
The Bunny System - Be warned, depicts much gratuitous violence being inflicted on squirrels. Written/drawn by someone I know.

As far as webcomics that I'm not currently reading because either I lost interest, the author stopped updating, the series was concluded, rarely updates, site went dead, or any other reason, there are quite a few. Some of them are:

Exploitation Now - Concluded
BoxJam's Doodles - Hasn't updated in a year, probably dead.
copper - tends to go months between updates
Demonology 101 - Concluded (I haven't gotten around to reading it to the end, though.)
Life of Riley - Having not checked on it in years, I find it's apparently dead and the site is now something unrelated, so the link goes to where a fan put up an archive.
Everything Jake - Ongoing, I fell out of it when I stopped reading webcomics for a while. Starts off just light college-life-humor-y, somewhere along the way it turns super-powery.
Elf Life - Apparently the original series completed and is now continued in some sort of follow-up or spin-off series. I recall it had some interesting plot ideas, but I stopped reading it years ago, during an annoying interminable side story arc about some fan-servicey siren and a thinly-disguised Popeye.
Corrupted Sprites - Elazul's sprite comic that doesn't seem to be up anymore; link is dead.
Eversummer Eve - Seems to still be ongoing. I barely remember this one because it's been a long time since I read it, but the story seems like it might be interesting and the art is great, so maybe I'll go back to it now.
One Small Step - Still ongoing, maybe I'll start following it again.
Perry Bible Fellowship - Some great "oh man that's just plain wrong" strips. Unfortunately, doesn't seem to be updated anymore.
Spamusement - Hillarious but no longer updated.

There are some others, but that's enough for now.

Hmm, that's actually quite unusual as the first thing my content negotiation code does is to specifically check the HTTP accept header from user agents, looking for 'application/xhtml+xml', which Opera would send under standard configuration. If it finds that, then it won't check the user agent string. I guess Opera's user agent spoofing is a bit too accurate for pointlessness.

Actually guest strips are still regularly posted in the forum. The front page used to mirror the best of these, but that seemed to stop recently, which may or may not be related to a software upgrade on the forums. Hardly a class act either way.

Ah, that reminds me now that I made a few spamusement cartoons myself at one point. All of these were the actual subject lines of spam I received, except for "persian viewed"-- that one was a name field from a spam email.

Your wallet virgins sang songs

endeavor frothy

president "a sick man"

Persian Viewed

Perhaps I should post them there.
