i need help with boktai: the sun is in your hand. it says the solar sensor is broken.please help!!

Take your cartridge back to where you got it and tell them it doesn't work.

You either need a patch for the solar sensor of an emulator that supports it. Since the only emulator I know that emulates it is Visualboy Advance GX for the Wii, I'll point you to the patch here.
