Default Zelda 1 NSF

Hey all! I downloaded the Zelda 1 NSF file here sometime ago, but I noticed a few tracks missing, if someone wouldn't mind ripping them for me:
- Link Dying
- Game Over theme
- Whistle (Recorder) Blow
- Rescue Zelda Fanfare

Thanks!

(And if this thread is in the wrong place, please let me know.)

Try here:

It might be missing "Whistle (Recorder) Blow". I'm not sure what that one sounds like.

I remember that the nsf had more to this song then the game itself.

Haha. I was able to recognize it, actually <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

(and it is in the nsf)

Hey everyone, thanks to all who've replied so far.

@pipes: You're thinking of the Staff Credits theme after you beat the game, which adds on to the Game Over theme. But I don't have just the straight up Game Over music in my NSF.

@Ugly Joe: Thanks for the link, but whenever I clicked on Zelda (or any game), it just brought up a page full of gobblety-gook, Wingding characters and such. I tried right clicking and downloading, but instead of downloading the NSF, it just downloaded the page as an .htm with all the same strange characters still in it. Do you know how I can download the music (i.e. the NSF) from there onto my computer? Thanks!

Just try renaming the .htm file to .nsf...it sounds like your web browser is trying to display the NSF as a text file or something.

Ah, it worked that time.

Unfortunately, it's the exact same rip that I already have and still missing the above four mentioned tracks. Is there no one who can rip those from the game?

Alrighty, I'm modifying my request a bit now. After finding MP3 versions of the Game Over theme and the Whistle song, all I need now is the Rescue Zelda fanfare (either in NSF or MP3 format). Any takers? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if this covers the nes, but I know that there are some snes spc's that require the snes hardware itself to run correctly, and that could be why these were missing in the first place.
