Default using ff3ed-2, can't find "VICKS: Hold it! Think back to our briefing... ..."

Hi

I'm using ff3ed-2 to make a FF6 text hack and I can't find "VICKS: Hold it! Think back to our briefing... ..." Is it editable using ff3ed-2 or is it in there somewhere?

Thanks...

That, unfortunately, does not fall under the category of "dialogue." It falls under "events." Use the attatched text file to search in the rom for what you need.

You need a table file, which this site does have, but because SwampGas and/or rest of ZD staff isn't doing a damn thing to fix ZD, I can't get the location of the tables to help you further. I would suggest a search for "FF3 table files" or "FF6 table files." Hopefully that turns up something.

My knowledge with Google's search parameters is weak at best. But that still doesn't change the fact that the Technical Documents section is down and inaccessable.

True enough, but at least Google http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache...h.phtml+&hl=enhas it cached.

Default Hack test

Hi, this is my hack. It's 10% done out of the whole game and is made for 15+ years or older! If you don't reach the 15 year mark, please DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS HACK!!! This hack is a "joke" hack and was just made 4 days ago (some jokes are lame and will be replaced when finished). The hack ends at South Figaro so if you go beond that town, it will become defult text.

Enjoy !

Disclaimer: I, User, am not affiliated with Squaresoft, Nintendo or any company based on Earth!!! I will follow guideline when creating this "hack" for Final Fantasy 3/6!

Here's how you find it in Thingy (I'm using the US version): Open the rom with ff3battl.tbl (download it from Zd) and go to &H10D306. It should be somewhere around that place.
