Image signature?

So I uploaded an image, it meets the height/width and file size requirements, it's showing up in control panel.

So then I used the [img]url[/img] code to put it in my signature. When I post, instead of showing the image, it shows a link to the image.

I'm puzzled.

it needs to be: {sigimg}{/sigimg}

yeah I think it's stupid as well.

Mine's a "[img]" "[/img]" tag, and it works.
