Psx emulation

hey, glad to finally find a site (here at zophars) that has nin64 roms in 1 rar form and not in parts , all the ones i downloaded work 100 %. Now i need help though cause ive seem to have taken on a task that seem impossible, trying to find a playstation emulator that will play the roms i download. have adripsx and did the bios thing , the emulator always did boot my cd's but i have not been able to open roms. i downloaded breathe of fire III and my emulator could only see the folder , when i opened folder it was empty.

could someone pls help a poor lowley noob out

Wait... first of all, shouldn't you be trying an N64 emulator to play N64 games...?

i do have the emulator for the nin64 and the roms in wich to pl , ty . now im trying to get psx roms to work

Try pSX. Very simple to set up, pretty fast and has high compatability.

I'm still going to support Epsxe, which got an update recently. Best PS emulator, I think

I admit configuring it [the necessary plugins] is a total bitch though. Various games will often need different settings to run properly if at all.

pSX > ePSXe IMHO

psx is also updated more frequently in the past few years... epsxe had one recent update.

Last I heard there was experimental PS2 emulation in psx.

pSX just doesn't seem to go past the start screen on Castlevania: SoTN.
But otherwise it's been way better than ePSXe, with 100% less plugin hassle.

And they may have fixed the problem with SoTN on new version, haven't exactly emulated PSX for a while.

the latest ver. of pSX works just fine with SOTN. it can freeze on rare occasions when the game is loading but its so rare that its generally not a problem as long as you save whenever you have the option.
