Default "B" Movies.

Admit it.
At one time or another, you find a useless, poor plot driven, weak movie...that you love.
I'm guilty. Anyone who likes 8 Legged Freaks is guilty.
But here are some that you youngsters haven't seen:

Zorro, The Gay Blade - Hey, this is one of the funniest spoofs I've ever seen. George Hamilton (yeah, the guy who is so tan he looks like a piece of luggage) plays two roles in this- one of Zorro and the other of his cousin, who, not only being identical is a, um, 'swishbuckler'. I't a lot of fun.

Defiance - This is a 78 film with Jan Micheal-Vincent as a merchant marine waiting out a suspension on his union status. He moves into a neighborhood Charles Bronson wouldn't. He, in my opinion, in this movie, shows up pretty badass. Ending kicks ass.

Transylvania 6-500 - God, one of the first goofs on horror flicks ever. Jeff Goldblum rocks in the movie, as does Ed Begley Jr. and Joesph Bologna. John Byner is funny,Carol Kane is as is Micheal Richards (Kramer from Seinfeld)
The movie's just a laugh riot.

Finally, a little gem I found just this week...

Peacekeeper - Dolph Lundgren, Louis Gosset Jr., Roy Scheider
Lundgren actually holds his own in this one. Neat story line, lots of suspenseful moments and a wayyyy more than satisfying ending.

Zorro, The Gay Blade - OK holy crap. This isn't a 'b' movie, this is one of the greatest comic masterpieces of all time. Also, Bunny was his brother, lol not cousin. GREAT movie.

Defiance - Never seen this, but any movie with "Stringg Hawke" in it.. just rocks. (airwolf reference)

Transylvania 6-500 - Good lord man.. anyone who has not seen this movie has not seen Ed Begley at his finest, OR, Michael Richards at ONE of his finest comedic appearances... "here... smell de glass... eez good no?"

Peacekeeper - Havent seen this one, but any movie with "The Dolph" is great, ESPECIALLY "I come in Peace."... a movie about an Alien Drug Dealer. - BRILLIANCE!

My favorite B movie is http://www.rightbrainanimations.comCircle of Freaks. No joke. Done on a $600 budget, running 6 minutes long, it scares me to even think about the countless hours it took to animate each frame of this stop-motion horror film. Blatant plug, I know, sorry! But then again... imagine all the blatant plugs in 1996 when Archaic Ruins ruled the world. Now how many people remember that?

Altered States. Monkey wang in several scenes. Need I say more? Plus the ending was just cool in a "makes no sense unless you are tripping" sort of way.

Ok, let's see here...

Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks: I saw this on DVD, came in this box set of odd horror movies my brother bought. Oh man...it's great. A caveman for no reason (that people attack and kill, Dr. Frankenstein acquires the body for his experiments) , a perverted midget, a constable trying to figure out what's going on who is just...stereotypical Britishness gone bad, just really weird goofy stuff. lol

The Movie Basket Case is another one...it's so absolutely bad that it's hillarious. The claymation effects in some scenes are absolutely the best. And there's a part where a puppet humps a woman, so I know Shawn will love it.

And this one movie...I can't remember what the name was, but it had Frankenstein in it, the monster. It was like...for some reason he was out in the world on his own, and he ends up in this carnival sideshow type deal, where he befriends this midget guy....and just, I know it's not a good movie, but god damn it me and my brother loved the damn movie.
