Yeah, could be pretty interesting.

There were some interesting ideas in the 64DD, though I can see why it didn't take off.

Yeah, the expansion is one of the best reasons for 64DD emulation. Also, I was thinking the other day that it would be interesting if someone learned how to exploit the 64DD hooks in Ocarina of Time to make a new game, or to do something similar to a hack, rather than patching the game. :P
