What's the point in having a link feature if it's only on the same PC? It's not like that's a viable way to have multiplayer.

is there a gba emulator that can link through the internet, or even just a LAN? I don't know any, but if you like, you can download the source of VBALink and add it there.

No, no and no he can't because it's impossible.

well maybe it isn't impossible for multiplayer mode (would just be sloooooow) but for the other modes - yeah

If someone knows anything about network programming (or where I can find something about it), I'll be glad to hear

No, it is impossible. I saw a thread on this on the BoycottAdvance forums. Gollum (the author of BoycottAdvance) came in to say that it was impossible. I debated it with him for a while to be sure, and came out convinced. The GBA link cable has a 2 megabit transfer rate (difficult to get over the internet, not so difficult on a LAN) and near zero latency (impossible to get over the internet and extremely 'tricky' even on a LAN).

I don't just mean those are the requirements for having a good game of Mario Kart: Super Circuit, you'll need the same to even trade some Pokémon.

Well, I'm speaking about multiplayer mode - the highest speed is 115200 bps

Try to look at the code, you'll see latency isn't a problem - it'll just slow down the emu

Believe me, I know that. When trading pokemon, the gbas communicate at about 1200 Hz (1200 18bit transfers from each gba).
