Default trouble with .rsn files

i have foobar2000 with the foo_gep.dll so i can open .nsf files no problem

problem is i can't open .rsn in foobar2000. even if i rename to .rar i cant open in foobar2000

i can rename the .rsn to .rar then extract the .spc files and open them in foobar2000, but to do that defeats the purpose...

most importantly, i could simply exact all the .rsn files to .spc files in their respective folder but that would increase the file size dramatically.

any ideas why foobar is not reading the .rsn files?

"Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format)"

i remember opening the .rsn files in foobar2000 on my computer before i reformatted it....

thanks in advance

Chances are that the plugin you are using does not support RSN files. The only one I know for certain that DOES support them is SNESAmp (for Winamp). Otherwise, you need to have the SPCs unzipped.
