Default Pokemon Leaf Green music hacking? Sry, I'm new...

Is it possible to hack a MIDI file into leaf green? I wanted to replace some of the music with some music from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (in MIDI form), any hints?

How do I learn the assembly? Are there any specific programs I use or anything? Any help is appreciated.

Assembly is a general umbrella term for programming at the processor level. For the Gameboy Advance, you'll specifically need to learn ARM7 assembly language. There are a slew of assemblers to choose from, but a good deal of assembly hacking will required you to overwrite existing code via a hex editor.

You can find resources for ARM coding here and I'm sure you can Google quite a few others.

If you decide to learn assembly, keep in mind that it isn't a "natural" language such as Visual BASIC or C++, in which you can get a basic idea of what a line of code does just by reading it. Here's a random selection of ARM assembly code:
Code:
EQU 2
ENTRY
MOV r0, #0
MOV r1, #3
MOV r2, #2
BL arithfunc
SWI 0x11
There are no programs to convert a MIDI file into a GSF file. There are no programs to automatically insert a GSF file into a GBA ROM. All of this will have to be done manually using assembly code.
