Default Sin and Punishment (N64) Graphics Question

Does anyone know if there is a graphics plug-in that does not have the weird static on some of the cut scenes? It's rather annoying, but at least the gameplay itself is fine...man that game is fun. Another classic game by Treasure.

Have you tried Rice's Video plugin?

You should check it out...it's a shooter on rails, very fun and in typical Treasure fashion shit-loads of enemies to blast. Pretty impressive graphics also for the N64, actually.

Wow. I got this game and could not believe how good it is. The controls are kinda crampy on a dual shock, but it's all good still. I do have the same "static" coming in the game, and I use a radeon card with jabo plugin 7. Seems like it's an emulation error, like when you pause banjo kazzoie...

Aw dude, you should get an http://www.wishtech.com/Adaptoid</a>. If you have a spare N64 controller around and want to play N64 games on your PC, this is truly the only way to go. I have one and it's awesome...you can even use Rumble Packs, your actual N64 controller pak, and apparently the other peripherals that go in the controller slot, like the Transfer Pak, work as well, though I've not been able to test this myself.

they don't seem to sell it anymore, unless I go to ebay. Are there any schematics out there? It seems simple to construct (like the Xbox->PC adapter)

Default Not to resurrect an old thread, but I have the answer...

I thought perhaps someone would be interested to hear it, and not have to futz around with the settings...ok, so the reason for the garble was that the default plug-in was not emulating frame buffer effects (blurring in this case), and I did not have Rice's Video set to emulate that, so it was having that problem as well. Turning on Basic Framebuffer is enough to get the effect and not the garble...now, the downside is it emulates about as well as framebuffer effects on the PSX do, meaning you want a beefy machine if you're going to do this....
