You mean the hacks that we have here? Or the bad ones that we were talking about?

When you submit a hack, it gets added when either Flash or myself sees it in the submissions.

I meant the hacks hosted here, just because I recently uploaded my first hack, and I was wondering if it would get accepted or not. Probably not, as it is noobish

Unfortunately that is not enough of a change to the game itself to qualify (though it sounds pretty funny to me).

Of course, if you are working on a full level hack of Megaman II, then that will probably be accepted as long as it works and is playable. Don't forget to make backups as you progress!!

Figured, I'll probably go back and add more stuff then re submit it.

To be honest I only really made the hack because I was bored. Oh, and because the red mage's hat is f***ing awesome.

So, out of interest, any ideas of what I could add to make the hack less crap?

How exactly are save states cheating?

Well it's not really skill if you just keep reloading savestates until you win.

There's a difference between saving a state because you have to go do something and there is no save point around and saving sate every time you dodge something or hit a boss. In the second scenario, it becomes nearly impossible to die, it's like a rewind key.

I am confused; the ROM hack policy states that if my hack isn't accepted, to check the hack rejection thread. But, in the first place, there must be hundreds of hacks a month (maybe thousands?) and the rejection thread would be much bigger with the many rejected hacks.(not all of them pass, right?[mine didn't])
So why is there a hack rejection thread if it isn't updated, and if the reasons the hack wasn't accepted are not posted in the rejection thread, shouldn't they be at least PM'd to the submitter of the hack? Or did I miss something...
