Default Question about Twilight Princess

Is it possible to play the Wii version of Twilight Princess on the Wii, but with a GameCube controller or you have to use the Wii controller ? Sure, playing with the Wiimote looks fun, but you must be tired after platying for a while, no ?

Also, what are the differences between the Wii and the GameCube version ?

No. Wii version uses Wiimote, GC version uses GC controller. You can play the GC version on Wii, but you have to use a GC controller.

I believe they "mirrored" the Wii version in order to make Link right handed, and obviously the controls are different, but I believe that is it in terms of changes.

Oh and the game controls fantastically on the Wii. You can rest the Nunchuk-hand while aiming with the remote. Very very natural and comfortable. I've played hours upon hours and I haven't gotten tired.

In addition to Diskeater's post, I've read that the Wii version supports widescreen mode, while the GC one does not. So if you have a widescreen format TV, this may or may not mean anything to you.

what the hell, why!? Link has always been a lefty! This is a slap in the face to lefties everywhere :<

I think that would make me want to play the GC version instead, since they left Link alone there ;/

It was originally a concern of mine that I would get tired if I wanted to game for hours, however in Zelda I find myself hitting "A" for jumping attack and twirling the nunchuck for the whirlwind slice much more often than normal attacks.
I played Zelda for 12 hours straight yesterday (finally done working, yay for xmas vacation), and I didn't get tired at all (except my eyes maybe). =P

Now, granted, when I play certain mini-games in Rayman I do get tired in the arms. When twirling that effing cow around and seeing the power bar slowly start declining again when it's so damn close to max, I cry on the inside as my arm feels like it's falling off.

Is there anything thing different besides it being on two systems. I don't care about the controller and I don't have a wii, or a large TV.

I'm playing it on the Gamecube and loving every minute of it. Don't worry about getting it on the Cube. It's exactly the same as it is on the Wii, except you use a different controller and it's mirrored.

What about the graphics ?

I'm thinking about buying the GC version instead of waiting for a Wii.

Exactly the same on both systems, unfortunately. It could have looked so much better if it were a Wii exclusive.
