I'm now on the "Will my extensions work" stage of Firefox updating. The answer is yes, except in three cases.

All-In-One Sidebar: Next version is at RC4, and that'll probably work.
Fasterfox: Hasn't been updated in months. Maybe it's time to leave it.
Tabbrowser Extensions: God only knows. It's bad for me anyway, time to find what I need elsewhere.

Otherwise, looking good.

It's good, but it's buggy on my Mac. Hopefully it's more stable on Windows and Linux.

Using it now, so far, not too bad, its looking more and more like opera, but I have to ask this: what the hell is up with flexible space and the search bar? in 1.5.0.7, a flexible space makes the search bar about 140 pixels wide, the default size for it was massive in this one, was bigger than my address bar :\

Also, is there some way to disable the zoom to fit window/100% alternating on image click thing? I'm finding that really annoying, and couldn't find anything about it in about:config or the general options dialog, although i didn't spend 30 minutes looking through about:config.

According to its page on https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1122/Firefox Add-ons, that may not work on Firefox 2.0. Besides that, I have requirements for any replacement for Tabbrowser Extensions.

Tab reordering (I couldn't live with Konqueror because I found no way to do this with it)
Close left/right tab (90% of my Tabbrowser Extensions usage is this, Konqueror also lost on this)
Scroll bar for when there are too many tabs to display at once (Konqueror lost yet again, see a pattern yet?)
Ability to get rid of the 'close current tab' button on the right-hand side of the tab bar (I accidentally click it too easily)

I may think of other things later that I missed, but those are the really essential things I can think of right now. I know Firefox can do some of these things natively (I haven't worked without Tabbrowser Extensions long enough to find out for sure) but they're all equally needed for my browsing experience to be tolerable.

I am so scared to leave my beloved Firefox even for a newer firefox. Does it use any less RAM? Because if it uses more it's just going to be fucking rediculous.

Well, if it does work in 2.0, Tab Mix Plus definitely has all of those features.

Like I'ld try it? I just knew other's would want to try it and wanted to see firsthand if their were a lot of bugs or if it was really stable.

Been using the nightly builds for a long while now. Performance does seem increased, at least here.
