Yes, I agree completely.

I was about to say the Wii is lacking a killer app at this point -- really, the launch title I was most excited about was Trauma Center because it seemed to be the most interesting use of the controller.

An adventure game with near 1 to 1 sword play. I don't know how feasible this is, but according to what I've read it is indeed possible, though it would require a lot of work for the developer to get it right.

I don't think it's possible. I mean, if you were hacking and slashing at a bag of flour, then sure. But if you're swinging at a guy in a suit of armor, then your sword is going to hit the armor and abruptly stop. The wiimote and your arm aren't going to abruptly stop. If the guy blocks your swing with his sword, he can push your sword and arm to the side. The wiimote and your arm aren't going to be pushed.

These are both legitimate problems with a 1 to 1 approach, since your game arm is now no longer in the same location as your real arm.

Somewhat related, I can't wait what will come when Penumbra sort of breeds a son with this: http://www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=27509

One thing I don't understand is why they didn't add GB/GBC to the virtual console.

Given that the last 3 portable releases of hardware have all done away with GB/GBC support (DS, GB Micro, DS Lite), it seems like a no-brainer in some ways.

Wow, that's really neat looking.

Wii + Physics = the win.

I think a game like James Bond or Resident Evil would give Wii the edge it needs. Only thing is that they have got to fix the Wiimotes' accuracy.

What do you mean? I've used that Wiimote a lot and it's very accurate so far as I'm concerned (occasionally moreso than I would expect).

I guess i'd like to some old Nintendo classics, like Chrono Trigger, remade or a sequel made. But it should be compatible with all systems not like Chrono trigger was.

In case you don't know Chrono Trigger ended in the classic sequel needed way, with Chrono's mom jumping into the time portal (what a fricken tool) so ye that should be the sequel on the Wii i think.

I think the Wii is limitless Nintendo are always making their consoles/handhelds better every year, i cant wait to see the next installment.
