A Brief History of Hacking Z(M)D

Many of you may recall an incident several years ago that resulted in ZMD being temporarily shutdown and reloaded. Sometime between then and now (much closer to then, than now) I wrote my take on the subject.

Since I was posting it somewhere else, I figured it was only fair to post it here as well.

Note: This was written years ago and has not been edited since then. As such, all views expressed therein may not actually match my current views. (In other words, don't take it too seriously, it was written partially as a joke and partially to chronicle the event.)

Anyway, maybe it's because I joined after all the drama you caused (2002), but I am giving you another chance. I realize that people mature over time (me especially) and I think you have more than likely wised up. Just behave and nothing bad will happen. Oh, and no you can't be on staff. ;p

I still find it funny that everyone blames me for what happened.

If George Bush gave Osama bin Laden the key to his office and a list of access keys to U.S. nuclear weapons, I personally would blame Bush at least as much as bin Laden when the nukes start flying.

I don't suppose you've forgotten that you were banned from the old boards for childish behaviour and allowed back only on the condition you behave yourself, have you? :P

There is that, but really you didn't have to use those 'keys'.

oh, I remember that fondly, which is why I said that people mature over time (me included). I'm not the same as I was 6 years ago and I'm sure the same goes for inverse (hopefully)
