Yes.

Ultra-Yes.

> 3. Merry Melodies (pretty much most of it)

It's all Looney Toons to me. They were ok, I guess.

> 4. Tom and Jerry

Yes. I even still have a copy of their movie (that everyone said sucked because they talked) on VHS.

> 5. Inspector Gadget

Yes. Along with Duck Tales, one of my favorite childhood cartoons.

> 6. Voltron - if you actally watched this when it first came

Never saw it.

> 7. Transformers (the original)

Never saw it. I don't think it was on TV around here.

> 8. GI Joe (the original)

Even when I was little I realized what a piece of shit this was. NO DEAL

> 9. Popeye (I still find this show funny)

My dad still loves this. I used to watch it with him.

> 10. Conan (the one that came on in the early-mid 90's)

Never saw it.

> New"ies":

Shit.

> 2. The Simpsons (as a WHOLE over it's 100 year rein)

Usually pretty good, though it's had its ups and downs.

> 3. Futurama - hated it when it came out but gave it a chance
> when it played on Adult Swim and it's so damned funny

Yeah, this is really good. I was too young when it came out to appreciate it, but I'm digging the reruns now.

> 4. South Park (as a WHOLE)

Crap. Still has nothing on Family Guy though.

> 5. Drawn Together - if you haven't seen this you NEED TO

Watched it once and didn't think it was that funny. Perhaps I should give it another shot.

Just to add an "Oldie" of my own:
The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimly

Absolute awesomeness. This is everything a cartoon should be. Unfortunately cancelled after only 13 episodes and now next to impossible to find.

Used to watch this every day before school, I was amazed to find it's still on.

> 2. Ducktales - love this show extensively

I watched it, I don't remember if I really prefered it to anything else or not.

> 3. Merry Melodies (pretty much most of it)

Some of it was good, some of it wasn't.

> 4. Tom and Jerry

Hah, this was one of my favorites.

> 5. Inspector Gadget

Another one of my favorites.

> 6. Voltron - if you actally watched this when it first came

I remember the show but I didn't watch it when it first came out. It kicked ass, though.

> 7. Transformers (the original)

It used to be on really early, I always missed it, but I liked it when I did get to see it.

> 8. GI Joe (the original)

Never liked it.

> 9. Popeye (I still find this show funny)

It wasn't that good, it wasn't that bad.

> 10. Conan (the one that came on in the early-mid 90's)

Don't think I ever saw it.

> New"ies":

> 1. Family Guy

It's alright sometimes but I fail to see what's so great about it.

> 2. The Simpsons (as a WHOLE over it's 100 year rein)

I've saw every episode up until the newer seasons where they started to get really bad.

> 3. Futurama - hated it when it came out but gave it a chance
> when it played on Adult Swim and it's so damned funny

Same thing here.

> 4. South Park (as a WHOLE)

I think I grew out of it, even the old episodes aren't funny to me anymore.

> 5. Drawn Together - if you haven't seen this you NEED TO

I watched two episodes, they were alright but nothing special.

by crumb, you've got a good memory.

other cartoons i was fond of:

- Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers
- Tail Spin
- Darkwing Duck ("I am the terror that fflapss in the night! I am Darkwing Duck!")
(these three were part of the some power lineup as Ducktales, on WGN anyway.)

- Gargoyles (friggin' epic, and voiced by more Star Trek:TNG cast members than you can shake a stick at)
- Widget the World Watcher
- GoBots. (as a kid, i easily had room for 2 series about talking, transforming robots)

- James Bond Jr. (ok, it wasn't on long, and i wasn't that into it. but the title character's catchphrase alone is worth it:
"The name is Bond, James Bond. Junior!". fuggin' priceless.)

- Captain Planet. too classic for too many reasons

- last, but certainly not least: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ! so perfect.. it had everything: action, comedy, drama, suspense, other-dimensionly alien brains.. will forever be a part of me.

Invader Zim. No question. "Well, he is kind of WEIRD... And he is SITTING..."
Inspector Gadget, yup.
Reboot. Does this qualify as animated? Coz it rocked.
Bots Master. Occasionally cheesy, maybe, but it had interesting characters, deep plot lines, and awesome action.
Earthworm Jim. How can a forum of old-school gamers miss out on this one?
Teddy Ruxpin. Okay, it's a cartoon for young children, but it's rather complex for that, and had some darker themes as well. On top of that, it was gorgeous, creative, and fantastical.
Harvey Birdman.
Samurai Pizza Cats.
Sonic the Hedgehog, the one featuring the weird US cast of characters. No, I'm not a furry, I just thought it was a fun show.

Was okay...loved Transformers, so Voltron was just a wannabe to me.

Rocked.

Much suckage.

Funny , the real funny ones are the real old ones.

Yeah, people look at me like I'm a retard cause I didn't watch it last Sunday.

Wayyyy good. Love Bender.

Another one getting old.

Sheesh.

I don't know if it counts as animated or not (it should) but Robot Chicken is the most ass kick thing out there.

And JLU rocks.

Ya gotta love da toons.

Randomly now...(sticking to TV shows)

Ducktales, Transformers, Voltron (and I'll form...the head.
The Pirates of Dark Water (one of those shows that was like a adventure serial, needs to be more of that on television)
Excel Saga
Robotech (and sure, Macross)
Futurama (bring Futurama back Fox...stop ruining good shows with your retarded scheduling)

All I can think of for now for some reason. :P

That Conan show...was that the one with the two kids in it? I remember seeing some show that had Conan and these kids and liking it. Don't remember what it was called.

Oooh, forgot about this one. Later episodes of this show moreso than the early ones rule.

It's too bad there weren't a lot of eps of this show.

> Samurai Pizza Cats.

Now, maybe you can tell me...is the villian in this show male or female? I could never figure this out no matter how many times I watched this show. It's like...Pat or something.
