I know a guy who broke his finger. The doctor set it incorrectly. After a month of healing, the doctor had to break his finger again so it would come together properly. Free visit? Of course not.
And let's not forget permanent mistakes. My dentist drilled off a chunk of my gums while filling a cavity last June. It hurt then, even though I had been thoroughly numbed, and it still hurts now. It's healed a bit, but there's still a hole. "Oops, sorry." is all I got.
