Default How to play playstation games on pc

I have been reading the post on this topic but I am still stuck. I download a file for Intelligent qube. It was a ecm file after decompress. I followed your directions and converted it to a .img file. Now what? I have adripsx emulator but it doesn't see that file type. How do I get it to a .bin or .iso?

You might need something like this to convert the file to a BIN file. You could also use something like Daemon Tools to load the file into a virtual CD drive...then you could just point the CD plug-in to use that cd drive.

I have a folder now with four files: a .cue, .sub, .ccd, and .img files, are all of these files going to be converted to the .bin or .iso format?

To be honest, I've not encountered a .ccd file, so I'm not sure what that is...but I can tell you that the .sub file is the disk's subchannel data. It's not usually important, but you need it in some games to fool copy protection. You can load it in some CD plug-ins such as Pete's. The cue file is something like a playlist for the disc image. It should have a bunch of details on where the data track (the .img file presumably) goes, and stuff like that.

Easiest quickest thing to do is probably to get Daemon Tools, then tell it to 'mount' the cue file, then point your emulator (or the emulator's cd plug-in) to Daemon Tool's virtual drive (see, it loads your cd image up and makes your computer think it is a disc drive).

I believe .ccd files are disc images output by CloneCD.

What emulator are you using? Decent ones (ePSXe, pSX) should be able to open a .ccd file with no problems.
