No thanks. I found loads of them ages ago and used them for a brief period. The only game I used one for was The King of Fighters 2002, which is now in MAME anyway. They were buggy too, changing my resolution from 1024x768 to 640x480 and forgetting to set it back once it was finished.

Inaccurate, irritating, and pointless now that MAME does all NeoGeo games.

No, I meant that there is a hack to get it to run in XP. But yeah, if you can run Neo-Geo games in MAME on your box just fine there isn't a heck of a lot of point to using NeoRage.

Yes, and I found several different hacks with names like NeoRAGExp. They were buggy and inaccurate.

Just wondering how that would make it better accuracy-wise... if they fail on actual hardware, shouldn't failing on the emu as well make it more accurate?

I'd say so. I remember I made some shitty SNES demo with some HDMA effects that, to paraphrase D-BOY, exploded on a real SNES. It's exploding made me frown, but such is the nature of actual hardware. Sometimes getting it to work on an emulator won't cut it

It doesn't make it better. My statement listed an inaccuracy of KiGB followed by an inaccuracy of BGB. KiGB runs some ROMs that should fail while BGB fails on some ROMs that should run, balancing things out overall. But the average user is more likely to want as many ROMs as possible running rather than absolute accuracy, so KiGB is probably better for most anyway.

Ah, my mistake... the way I read it, it sounded like it was being offered as an advantage of KiGB, since it was mentioned in the "Accuracy" category.
