I haven't, actually. I'll check them out if I ever encounter anything that SNES9x doesn't do that I need.

Uh..... no, I don't. I've used BSNES a total of one time, when I needed a feature it's debugger supposedly has that Geiger's didn't. (I don't recall what it was, now.)

Regardless, the question was in regards to why someone wouldn't use BSNES and the answer is "Because it's too slow." So regardless of WHY it's slow, pointing out that it's too slow to be usable doesn't constitute trolling.

Yes it was trolling.

Point #1: No one else mentioned bsnes before you did, only Snes9x. You felt the need to bring bsnes into the topic.

Point #2: Brad's inaccuracy comment was in regards to Snes9x 1.43 (which is currently going on six years old) and why you'd still be using that with Snes9x 1.52 out right now.

Point #3: You really don't know why bsnes is as slow as it is? Seriously? You?

For me to know why it is slow would require me to actually know anything about BSNES. I've used it one time, I've barely read anything about it, other than it's striving to be 100% accurate. I'm not a SNES fan on any level, so I have no use for such knowledge.

And based on previous conversations, I'm pretty sure he was referring to SNES9x as a whole, not that particular version, but I'll let him clarify that point.

When a three-year-old netbook that was $180 NEW can get 80fps, perhaps it's your computer that's the clunky piece of shit. But keep acting like it's the emulator's fault, and not your life choices, that leave you no ability to upgrade. Whatever makes you feel better. I'd be a lot happier if people with as much self-entitlement as yourself never use my software.

Trolling, one more thing I can do better than you

After having looked at it again, BSNES actually runs full speed on my computer. It must have been when I was attempting to use the debugger when it was crawling.

I'm perfectly capable of upgrading, I just don't see any reason to do so when all of the software I use works perfectly fine with what I have. In fact, at least one of the computers that I built and donated to Goodwill last year was slightly more powerful than my current system but I didn't see any point in dealing with file migration.
