Default "enhanced" audio CD

I just got a CD that's supposed to have some enhanced features (interviews with the band, etc.), but I don't see any data track on the disc (though there are 10 year old system requirements on the case). Is there anything else I should look for?

If it's an "enhanced" CD that was designed to run on Windows 3.x (most likely), you're probably hosed unless you Virtual PC it or have an ancient box laying around. I've got one of those and it absolutely does not run on Win95 or higher.

Whenever these sorts of things happen to me, I get the urge to break the CD in half, find whoever came up with this shit, and stab them to death with the sharp pieces of CD.

Got it working, I extrated the first 128 MB of the disk with WinHex and mounted it as an ISO. Alcohol told me the first audio track didn't start until way past the start of the disk to I figured the data was in that space that everything was refusing to read...

I hate those kinds of CDs. Its almost like every cd is like that and auto runs when I put it in my computer. Yeah I could turn auto run off but its nice for games and stuff but not for music that I just want to listen.

Yeah, but I almost wish this one would autorun to save me some trouble.

As it is this won't work with my version of QT, and I can't install the one off the disk.
Edited by hcs on 05/02/05 03:49 PM.
