Default Desktop Thread: 09/2008

OK, September now, time for a new desktop thread. I'll be posting mine here once I've got shots.

well ok... I was about to ask you if you still wanted to do the month by month thing, but I guess this answers my question.

edit: WHOOPS I thought that THIS was a reply to the August thread. Opening thread back up and resticking.

Is it really necessary to have a new desktop thread one month after we just had one? Why not re-use the one already available?

<mod edit: this is a dirty fix but I'm merging the post you made in my sticky in here... you'll understand... hopefully.>

Trying this again...

If anyone is interested, the XP Theme I use it called TypeZero.

The tiny icon on my top panel is KTorrent. It's like that for some reason. I know a workaround to make it look right, but I can't be bothered to apply it.

We're limited to four images per post here, so I'll post the other half in my next message.

The other desktops:

These all came out too large as PNGs for ImageShack (and I'm not paying them for an increase), so they're all tweaked JPEGs. I'm amazed I managed to make them look this good.

Just changed mine today, as it happens:

Photo from my gallery.

I had run this one for a while

Which is an excerpt from here.

Well, this time around I have a cleaner desktop

The picture is of a boat I saw passing by in the sound a few weeks back, thought it looked good.
I didn't realize how many people were on it until after I uploaded it from my phone.

I still have no Gui on my opensolaris test box, I don't think Ill ever get around to finishing that.

Still working with Openbox. Settled on a wallpaper for the past week. Also modified the default Crux engine GTK theme to match the dark window decorations.

Well, this is not a print screen of my desktop, but this is the image that I use as my background. Isn't it beautiful ?

Recently changed my wallpaper, before this I had a bright red glowing sigil from Code Geass. Which really started to hurt my eyes.
