Default Is there a particular Super Metroid editor that is regarded as the best? Is it possible to hack the

I apologize for not having much content to fill my post with, but all I wanted to ask is in the topic title. I've already toyed with SMILE for Super Metroid, and although it was good, I was hoping for something more convenient to use. I also wanted to ask if it is possible to hack the GBA Metroid games.

Thanks for any help.

Umm... http://jathys.zophar.net/supermetroid/index.htmlSMILE.</a> That's the Super Metriod editor. It'll edit anything that you would probably want to in the game.

To see how far SM editing has come, check out SABS (same page as SMILE, both written by me) . . . It's really funny to see how some things were edited in the past (ie- enemies and doors could still be edited somewhat, represented by red dots on screenshots of maps).

Anyway, Ultima4701(number?) had been working on another Super Metroid editor a couple years ago. Production on that stopped completely when he was getting ready to convert the code over to Delphi . . . At the current state it was in:
-less convenient/capable at editing than smile
-more accurate in rendering the levels and graphics than smile (ie- kraid's room, ceres's shaft, and ceres ridley's room rendered correctly... also layer 2 used priority byte, whereas smile assumes it's supposed to always be behind layer 1).

I can't remember where exactly Ultima's editor was located, but it's archived..... Elazul's Pad. Search on google and you'll probably still find it.
