the simple fact of the matter is that you don't have any clue what people here can and cannot do. I don't care what you've done with the Audio, although i'm interested from a programming standpoint, if you used all your 'great audio hacking talents' just to have a character say, "l337!" or "manseckz!". Even my curiousity for the hack on a technical level would be lost at the first l337speak reference. Certainly nothing that's going to make me start doing backflips, or to make me forget about how idiotic this hack's premise is.

Be calm, says the pot to the kettle. Stop getting so worked up over something so totally not worth it. Your hack just isn't funny to many people on this forum. I can almost guarantee that your hack will not be funny to a majority of people. Get over it. It's nothing to cry about, it's nothing to flame an entire board about. And it's hard to show you appreciation for your vast efforts in GBA hacking when you act like such a dick. Why don't you jump back almost a full decade when these hacks were more prevelant and i'm sure you'll get a better reception then.

You're right, nothing in this hack is a big deal. Nothing about it is. But why other people make that out of it is awkward, huh?

You sure like that word a lot, I take it you play FPSs a lot. Nothing more original than calling someone new. Yep. I can't think of anything worse than being new at something, because we all know no one's ever been new before.

Umm, there's a big difference here. FF games are generally good, and shouldn't be grouped in with what I made.

I know very well that the people here could essentailly make a game for any system. But being able to make something is not the same as making it. If you are trying to imply that being able to speak french is the same as speaking french, I have to disagree. Applying your knowledge, even if close to no knowledge. Is a different world than knowing. Even just a making a stupid joke is better than "hey, I could make something better than that." I hope you understand, anyone frequenting this place should be skilled enough to do stuff way beyond this. It's really a shame not to often see things better. Do you not agree that GBA hacks shouldn't top at this advanced?

Sorry about the arrogance, it is a little on the rude side, but people visiting here don't seem to mind when people are rude, so we'll have to get used to it. Anyway, as I said before COULD hack is different that DO or WILL hack.
And if you can quote when I said I am the rom hacking czar, I will never touch another GBA ROM.

There are many worthless Super Mario World, Final Fantasy (any of them), and SMB hacks. Now you are making a bridge to shitty Sonic hacks. If it weren't for the Genesis format being barf, there'd be a fuckton of shitty Sonic hacks as well.

You just picked barf quality as a bridge to getting GBA hacks done. So, again, congradulations, you are now immortalized for this worthless heap of crap you call a hack.

As for this entire topic, it seems like there's this overlying theme that he hacked a GBA game and is therefore special... it's not that hard, I've done it before (Never released anything though), others have done it, it's not hard.
