Default Question!

Say nothing about this being my first post...

Okay, does anyone know if it's possible to rewire a game controller to a USB cable?

uuuhm, you need a USB interface chip thing in order to pull something like that off. I think there was this one site that sold the kit to make NES and SNES controllers USB, ah... here we go. Click here.

I think you can just clip the wire from the old conch and solder it to a ps3 or 360's end. However, I'm absolutely inexperienced with that since I don't have the balls to risk ruining any of my genesis controllers I've still got. I myself just bought a generic ps3 controller off ebay and use that for everything rom-wise.

Chips aren't fun... Do you think one could work with a PS controller?

I only have a basic idea of how to put the two together, but I think I can do it... Still, I only have so many USB cables >.>
Ah ebay, if only I had more money...
