Default My new hobby of NES cart collecting

Well, in the past few weeks, I decided to start getting all the carts I never had in the past, but wanted, as well as some I hadn't played until emulators came out. I gotta say, playing on the real NES with a real controller was sure fun. I need a new controller though... My start and down buttons aren't as responsive as they should be.

My new 72 pin connector has it so I don't need to attach games to the Game Genie anymore to make them even work.

That being said, my favorite and newest additions are: Mike Tyson's Punch Out (I have regular, and it's more fun to fight Mike), the original Mario Bros, Solomon's Key, the Lolo series (can't believe I never owned any of these), and Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2.

Games I hope to get sometime: The Castlevania ones (especially CV1), Snow Brothers, maybe Bubble Bobble...

Having every cart ever made, however, isn't my goal. Although it'd be damn sweet to see them all side by side.

Man, you had quite a few in there I would've wanted last month when I started. I have quite a few of those now though. The next thing I plan to get are sleeves for 'em all as well as new controllers as my current controllers have bad start buttons and down buttons.

Hehe. I got all my original MM1-MM6 games still. You got the Metroid with the "in-game footage" label. I have the yellow label one. You seem to have some good ones, although some of the labels are hard to read. What game is between Castlevania and Captain Skyhawk? Yellow text on light grey is BAD. Also, what's between R.C Pro Am and Battletoads?

Heh. You got Journey to Silius too. I got and played that game for the first time this year. Fun, hard, and level 3's music is the best.

Mostly good stuff there though.

Sorry when the flash is off it take awhile to take a pic and as much caffeine I drink I can't keep a steady hand. Those games are mario/duckhunt/WCT (I still have my old power pad too) and wolverine.

Ah. Neat. I recently picked up SMB1 and Duck Hunt as individual carts just for collection purposes. I actually prefer to play 'em that way now that I have them. SMB1 arrived today and I played through without warps for the fun of it. Only died 4 times.

I can't wait for Ghosts 'n Goblins.
