I highly recommend softmodding. No need for a mod chip if all you want to do is run emulators.

Yeah, by Lantus. That's definitely the best SNES emulator on the Xbox right now. Most of my other emulators are ported by XPort, though.

Most of them, yeah. I get weird stuff with games like Street Fighter, but I recently played Street Fighter II Turbo on my real SNES and saw it was in "widescreen" too -- meaning the emulation was accurate. Haha.

Except when you want to have all of the ROMs and Emus on the hard drive... and put XLink Kai and all those beautiful things. Ah well. I guess I'm just jaded, having a modchip and all.

For console emulation Xbox and far superior to GC and PS2 by far.
If you are going that route get a used Xbox in a good condition and either a solderless mod chip (you can get them online) or a softmod. Both aren't difficult.
And the Xbox does have some excellent games as well....*cough*KOTORFABLE*cought*

Those are about the only two X-Box games I'm actually interested in playing. <img src=smilies/laff.gif>

Crimson Skies is a great deal of fun.

There are other good Xbox games as well. Morrowind, Doom3 will be out soon for those of us with shitty PCs, Halo, Beyond Good and Evil, Burnout 3 etc.
Also almost every cross console game like Prince of Persia and Need For Speed Underground look and play much better on the Xbox.

What's so good about PS2? Only thing they have going for them is Square, and they are being plaugued by Sequelitus badly... KOTOR is way better than FF X.
