Default PSF files (music)

Alright, I know I'm a little new at this, but I could really use some help. I suppose this would be the best place to put this question---though there isn't a specific catagory.

On the site I tried to download some of the .psf and .minipsf files. I got the plug-in for winamp. I got everything. But some minipsf files won't play while others will.

Is there something I need to know about .minipsf files?

Default Re: PSF files (music)

minipsf files are tied to a psflib file. Typically one soundtrack will have one psflib file which holds the bulk of the music (it's the really BIG file in the archive)... and then several itty-bitty minipsf files which cover each individual song.

You cannot play the minipsf without the psflib.

The psflib for the soundtrack should be in the same directory as the minipsf you're trying to play... don't move them away from each other or the player probably won't be able to find the lib.
