Default Increase game speed

when you turn off sound, the game speed increases, this has made pokemon yellow a breeze, unfortunately the speed increase is no where close to being the same on other pokemon games, is there anyway i can increase the speed of the game?

I know there are settings for messing with how it throttles the framerate...argh, if I had access to my computer I could tell you specifically where to go.

Just hold Space, it should speed up the game without disabling the sound

How fast does it go ?
I've a good computer myself and it still doesn't surpass 5000%.
(With my last pc it ran about 1200%)

Anyway by holding space the game runs as fast as possible and by changing framerates you can make it go up to 1000% at maximum.
