I don't use Apple so I'm not sure if exact version is necessary when I searched.

I didn't see 10.0 but they had version 10.5 and 10.5.6 for under a $100 listed over at pricegrabber.com.

I think a better question is, why would you pay for something so god awful?

eh, Kind of hard to find these days. Try ebay? Best I can find for you is 10.0.3, and this fellow claims it's rare to come by, 10.0.0, I imagine, is even more so.

here

Then instead of repairing you should try to find one to replace it. There are tons of used laptops out there forsale because of this recession. I'ld check ebay, craigslist, or something like that and see. I'ld imagine you'ld be able to find one for under a $100 and if you look hard I bet you could find one for less than $50. I bought this 2.1 ghz PC for $100 with a 15" flatscreen monitor and I've found many more slightly slower for $50 or less though I didn't have the money at the time to buy them.

Then just transfer you files from the old to the new laptop.

Wait, what kind of OS do you have currently? and why would you want OS X 10.0? it was the Mac equivalent to Windows ME.

If you got an old Powerbook, Why not try Yellowdog, or Solaris?

Give Yellowdog a try, or if anything, Darwin, which is the Open Source base of Mac OS X

This is an emulation site. When someone expresses an interest in running an old operating system or an old computer, we should say "wow! that's very interesting!" instead of saying that his idea is God awful.

Retrocomputing = fun times
