Default Activating sound driver in prototype ROM?

Hi guys. I've been looking around on the internet and I haven't been able to find an answer to my question.

The question concerns the game Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers on Genesis/Megadrive.

Years ago, DRX released a bunch of prototypes of the game. In the earliest build dated July 08 there is absolutely no sound or music, although there is a sound test menu available. In the very next build, dated July 18, there's almost an entirely different soundtrack to the final game.

However, I have reason to believe that the sound and music still exists within the July 08 build, despite the silence, and perhaps it's just a matter of the sound engine/driver not being activated or something like that.

Does anyone know how I'd go about activating it to see if there's any other leftover music within the game? I believe it runs on SMPS Z80 if that's any help.
