Forced Fade-ins on SPC (SNES/Super Famicom) Files?

Does anyone else have the irritating problem of some SPC files for SNES and Super Famicom having a fade-in by default? It's a hassle dealing with this when I'm recording a chiptune to save as a WAV or MP3 (i do it myself and don't like converters). If so, does anyone know how to get rid of it, or is it something pre-programmed in the chiptunes for those systems?

Fade-Ins/Outs are just tags in SPC file metadata. Otherwise SPCs should not fade-in/out, per se.

You can change the tags with several programs, one of which is foobar2000 with foo_gep. I explained this in another post here:

If you would like to reset the whole set, select all the SPCs, right click, select "Tagging" and then select "Set Length".
For a single SPC, right click, select "Tagging" and then "Edit Length".

In both cases, write in length "3:00" and Fade to "0".

And that's it, you're back to your full length SPC tracks.
