Dude. I'm not sure.
I've played your hacks. Nice work. (Funny, too)

I've had a lot of success with http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htmBlindwrite</A>. Just tell it to skip bad sectors, and you'll be in the clear.

Indeed, burning a PSX ISO to CD-R is extremely easy (I use an old version of FireBurner myself), but the PS1 you're going to play it on *has* to be mod chipped, otherwise it's not going to work.

You can play a burned disc on an emulator in your PC, but if you have the ISO on your hard drive already that's kind of pointless (Unless you're strapped for space or something).

PS1 mod chips are extremely cheap these days (Around $10-$25), and most only require around five wires to be soldered to get it up and running. It's so easy you can eat some tasty oats and do it at the same time!

What if you're going to play it on a PS2?

Then you buy a PS2 mod chip. Or you can try the swap trick which requires you to buy (no, you can't download one) a Swap Magic boot disk (or possibly a Game Shark, I'm not real familiar with that version), boot the system off of the bootdisc and then spring the door so that your CD drive opens and you can swap in your pirated/imported game. Of course, modchips aren't much more expensive than a bootdisk ($5 to $10 more) and, as long as it's properly installed, is much easier on your system.

I usually use GoldenHawk's CDR-Win. It's easy to use and can extract subcodes as well. Plus it makes up a cue sheet which can be handy to have at times for the ISO.

Ah. I made copies of a few PSX games for a friend and he can't get them to work. I'll mention the modchip thing next time I see him, although he'll probably consider it too much of a hassle or think that installing a modchip with cause his PS2 to explode.
