Default Case fans actually are helpful?

Ok, so for the past couple months I noticed my computer has been running really hot at about 60oC idle, 70oC under full load. I have a couple case fans inside my PC, one in the front and one on the side. The one in the front blows air in, and the one on the side blows air out.

Not until recently one of my hard drives died on me (80 GB ATA), so I removed it and noticed there was dust completely covering one of the rear air vents. Not only this, but there was a shitload of dust inside. I took a air hose and completely blasted out the entire case with air and a plumb of dust rose up above it. Now my CPU temperature runs at 45oC idle 55oC under full load. It might be time to dust out your computers, guys. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

There should be some kind of filter system. All you need to do is throw it away or clean it off.
