as a new yorker, let me tell you how much hillary sucks. she pretty much just rubber stamps ANYTHING democratic that comes by her desk.

also, she's a filthy carpetbagger. i loathe chuck schumer, the senior senator from my state, but at least he lives here.

that said, however, she would TOTALLY get my vote, just because i want to see a chick in the white house. odd, huh?

As for carpetbagging... *shrug* Nearly every politician is an opportunist of one sort or another, unfortunately. There are worse kinds of opportunism than carpetbagging. I'm not saying it's great, but...

Pfft...keep dreaming....a minority male will be elected before a female ever gets close....sorry, but there are too many sexist bastards in this country to make it happen...and I'm not just talking about the men, there are plenty of women as well (like those that defeated the ERA ammendment in the 70's) that will probably stop at nothing to prevent that from happening.

It would be nice to see a woman in the white house for a change....maybe not get us into so much trouble, but somehow I think Barak Obama is the best chance for a minority presidental spot..and unfortunatly, he'll still be a bit "young" for 2008.

I think Obamawould make a great candidate about ten years form now. He seems really honest for a politician, and seems to sincerely want reform in the system. Hopefully ten years on the hill doesn't destroy that, LOL

Well, I think you're right that some people would vote against her simply because she's a woman-- but that wouldn't be why she wouldn't get elected. Conservatives for the most part disagree with her greatly, and she turns off Republican women completely. Pure and simple, she'd never take the red states.

But her inability to win won't keep the Democrats from nominating her. I'm calling Powell:Clinton with a Republican victory.
