Can't get DS emulator to work properly

I tried no$GBA and DeSmuME and both lag vey badly during cgi sequances. I only tried Castlevania ORder of Ecclesia and Zelda and both had problems starting up. iDeaS does this as well. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

Don't bother with the emulators. Flash carts are a lot easier

I have 2 gigs of ram, dual core e6420 processor, and Nvidia GTS8800 at 640mb

I can run playstation emulator no problem, but ds emulation sucks. The game play somewhat fine but the entros and in-game videos lag horribly.

What no$gba version are you using? I've got 2.6a and GTA Chinatown Wars works perfect and my machine is less powerful then yours.

Does anyone know where I can get the flash carts from (R4).. I tried ebay but no luck.

R4 was ruled illegal in Japan, so you might have a harder time finding it. That company is getting the pants sued off of it. You can try a website like DealExtreme, but be sure to watch out for pirate, knockoff carts (which is quite ironic if you ask me lol).

Indeed, now that I think about it I don't think I'd recommend an R4 these days.
