Well, I downloaded Regen, but it didn't work for my computer. I read the readme file and it says I need at least Windows XP. I have Windows ME, is there anyway I can get it to run on my computer or is there another emulator that has movie recording abilities?

As far as I am aware, any moving thing in a windows program can be logged to a video file. I once wanted to do that, and I used a free program called CamStudio, and I hated it, a lot, the process, I mean, but it all worked like I wanted it to, eventually.

Yeah, I know there are some screen recording software out there, but I just wanted to see about the emulators before trying that.

Certain versions of GENS might also be able to record avi. There's tutorials of it on YouTube I believe.

I looked on Youtube and I found a guy that said he used Gens Surreal. So I downloaded it and load Shining Force. Windows tells me that Gens Surreal has caused an error in Kernel386...ok...wtf. So I tried another game and I came up with the same error.
Back to the damn drawing board again it seems.

Windows ME...eh heh heh heh heh...
I might consider using my parent's old XP, but I would have to do some major cleaning on it, because a turtle could move to Nebraska and back by the time it starts up. I did Disk Clean on it and there was 4 and a half gigabytes worth of crap, 90% of which were uncompressed old files.

oh jeez, ME. Chances are it's the OS itself. You are better off running 98SE, or depending on the system, XP
as for the old XP box, running disk clean will have no effect on it. If you can give specs on both the ME box and the XP box I might be able to give you some suggestions
