Got a challenge for all you artists out there

I work at a blockbuster. It is a rather crappy blockbuster. But for once I have been given a really cool challenge. Since we can no longer wear our Star Wars shirts (it was for some promotion with the game) my manager told me if I wanted I could make t-shirts featuring classic gaming pictures and wear them to work. So since I am cheap and this is coming out of my pocket, I am using cafepress to do so. Only problem is I have no really cool pictures. So I was hoping some of you out there could help me. Danoz, if you happen to have free time any cool stuff you could whip up would be appreciated (Since I love what you did with the 3d rendering). If you don't wish to make anything, maybe you have some cool fan art, or screenshots floating around you could show off. Pretty much anything works.

This is pretty simplistic and anyone could have made this in like two seconds, but here's a contribution. :P



I looked through my screenshots too, and didn't see anything I thought you'd probably wanna wear...I almost posted a Madou Monogatari screenshot. :P for some reason it would be great to see that on a t-shirt though.

Take random emulation-related screenshots.

This one took me five minutes and could be made into something great with a little time:


Just grab some sprites, throw 'em on, and bam! The more pixelly and low-palette, the better. That's how they're supposed to look.

Other ideas:

Bubble Bobble sprites (try MAME sprites, bust-a-move sprites, etc)
A horde of monsters storming the player in gauntlet
the ghouls and ghosts guy throwing a javelin at an undead monster

If ya wanna go more high tech, load up zsnes, chrono trigger, and get to a point where there are some cool enemies. Pause, kill the background layers, and take a screenshot in the middle of some awesome tech that annihilates the enemies.

That makes me think I should get a t-shirt made with nago (my avatar, from hoshi no kirby 3) on it. The happy face in the front, the angry one in the back.

On top of this, you can even add little captions and do other things. I guess what I'm saying is this: be creative and try shit. Whatever ya make, it'll be you.

There are only 6 of us who work at my store, and only one or 2 of us want the shirts, so since it is coming out of my pocket a bulk order is probablyh not likely. But will check it out for the sake of finding ones better than my lazy ass can make.
