hi folks, you now how to patch an fds file?

I am new in this of the famicom thing but what the heck...

You know, i am trying to emulate nazo no marusamejo (zeldas brother) and i dont understand why i cant pass a weird black screen with japanese letters.

well i discover a patch for change the lenguage and it doesnt work.
it say something about DOS commando thing but i dont understand where and how i have to do that.

so, can you guys help me?

also, you guys remember that black screen i talk? it dosent go away... at least i want to know what is writing there.

i wait for your help!

You patch FDS disc images in the same manner that you patch most other ROMs. The best program to use, assuming you're on Windows, is Lunar IPS.

Recently, FDS images seem to be distributed without headers. If the image you have doesn't have a header, you'll need to add one in order for the patch to work.

Incidentally, you *might* want to wait a bit before playing Murasame Castle because I have it on good authority that an updated patch will likely be released in the near future. (In fact, it's entirely possibly that the retranslation is complete and he's just waiting for me to finish the new title screen, which I'll hopefully get to next week.)

Looks like i have to change the Disk B or something and i did by my own.

And about the patch, welll, i never try to patch a nes image, thats why i didnt understand.

anyways, i will wait for the new patch, but that does not mean i havent gotta play now
