Default A way to fix sound for older games (old SB)

Someone gave me the Epic Pinball series, but because it uses the old Sound Blaster settings, and I'm running on the Dell Inspiron sound card, the sound is all skippy. I've had this problem with War Craft II in the past as well. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this, like some kind of driver fix or something.

If you're trying to play them in Windows and they're older DOS games, you might have better luck running them in dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net)

I agree completely with what you just said. Dosbox is quite awsome.

I have ran it in DOSbox, but I don't get sound. Is there a setting in DOSbox to enable sound or something?

OK, I got it to work, thanks.

I ran the setup program under DOSbox and configured the sound to run as the Graphis Ultrasound midi. Under DOSbox, it configures all of the port settings automatically. After doing this, the game runs perfectly under DOSbox.

Actually, how could I have the game open automatically with DOSbox? Here's an attachment of it:

Weird, here's a link:
http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/pinball.zip

I just meant to send the program as an DOS exe example because of the property parameters. Perhaps there's a way to have it open through another program inside the DOS properties, but I wouldn't know how. Anyways, the link above is the full shareware game.

Umm, I haven't IMed in forever. What is ATM?
