Default New band

I have discovered a new band, and I must say, bravo.

The band is Ringer.

Ringer consists of:
Paige Haley (Orgy)
Mikey 'Bug' Cox (Coal Chamber)
Carlton Bost (Deadsy)
Eric Powell (16 Volt)
Kraig 'Squirrel' Tyler (Crazy Town)

now, being a fan of Deadsy and Orgy, I decided to look into Ringer a little more. I was certainly surprised by the genre, becuase it is nothing like any of the bands that it is derived from.

to quote the site, "the result is ringer. simple, intimate songs about love, life, and memories. the color is pink. it makes you dance. it makes you smile. it makes you cry. it's unlike anything you have ever heard before, and it's cute as shit."

no cds are out yet, and I can't find a torrent, but you can listen to them on their site.

I was ready to come in here and make fun of how crappy this band was going to sound, seeing as I hate all of those bands you mentioned.

Then I listened to Angel's Wings. I have one thing to say:

i just dont like that style of singing, though most of the music isnt isnt too bad. i'm sure i know people who'd like this band (ie: my 13 year old sister, and probably my coworker), but it's really really not my taste. not all of it is too bad, but you'd never find me listening to it.... except for the past 15 mins or so (gave it a fair chance, listening to the songs, and skipping them when i couldnt stand it anymore).
