The most likely cause from my experience is a change in driver configurations.

Thanx for the reply but how do I fix it...Do I have to change the driver config back to its original setting?? And what program do I use?

Do a system restore. It will be the quickest and easiest if it is driver problem or conflict.

Go to start\programs\accessories\system tools\system restore.
Create a restore point (a point to go back to if things are messed up)
Restore your computer to a point where the USB key was working

This may get you past the issue if some change messed up the USB key. Remember, any changes made past the date that you restored the computer too will not be present.

Either you do a system restore operation as Goku briefed on or you recall the software that accessed any driver configurations for your system, write about it here, and maybe someone here knows about the software and what specifically you did in coincidence with how to reverse it.
