Default FF6: Adding natural magic to other characters...?

Hello there. Suppose I wanted to add natural magic (a la TERRA and CELES) to other characters in FF6 (say, STRAGO), what would this entail? I know TERRA and CELES have special code associated with their natural magic, and each has a table of levels and what spells they learn on these levels... But obviously I can't just copy/paste this stuff into a blank spot in the ROM and change the character IDs to Strago, right?

I beleive that FF3 US Multi Editor can do these tasks for you. I remember being able to edit both Terra and Celes' magic level progression. Perhaps you may be able to give other characters this ability.

Nope :-)

FF3usME can edit the natural magic tables for TERRA and CELES, and the Blitz and Swdtech tables for SABIN and CYAN, and the starting Lores, but it has no way of swapping/adding/removing these to/from other characters.

That sucks. I don't know any other utility that can edit that feature. I would suggest that you ask Lenophis to see if he knows how.

It requires a minor assembly hack in 2 different places, and adding a new table of data for the spells/levels. Unless you want to ditch the natural magic for Celes or Terra, in which case it's an even-more-simple assembly hack, to change the character IDs that these two functions look at during level ups.
